skin, orange, yellow, dark green, green and light green color yarn – I used less than 50 g of each;
red, blue, dark blue and purple color yarn – I used small amount of each;
fine fluffy yarn for the hair – I used small amount of “Andora” by Himalaya (100% polyamide, 650m/100g);
a piece of white felt for the whites of the eyes;
two black half beads for the pupils of the eyes (I used 7 mm in diameter);
matching crochet hook;
a piece of plastic (plastic canvas or plastic lid) or thick cardboard for the insoles;
fabric tape
wire for the arms - the diameter and quantity depends on the size of your toy. I used approximately 40 cm (15.7 inches) of copper wire 0.8 mm in diameter (optional);
wire for the head-neck-body frame - the diameter and quantity depends on the size of your toy. I used approximately 14 cm (5.5 inches) of PVC covered wire 3 mm in diameter (optional);
thin art brush (optional);
stuffing;
sewing pins;
brown and pink embroidery thread for the eyebrows and mouth;
any tinting material you like to tint the cheeks – I used regular blusher;
brown felt tip pen or brown pencil to draw freckles (optional);
tapestry needle.
Measurements:
used “Jeans” by YarnArt (55% cotton, 45% acrylic, 50g/160m) and 1.75 mm crochet hook. The boy is 17 cm tall (6.7 inches) using the materials mentioned below.
