skin color yarn for the arms and head – I used less than 50 g;
dark green, green, light green, yellow, blue, white color yarn – I used less than 50 g of each;
small amount of orange color yarn;
a piece of white felt for the whites of the eyes;
two black half beads for the pupils of the eyes (I used 7 mm in diameter);
matching crochet hook;
a piece of plastic (plastic canvas or plastic lid) or thick cardboard for the insoles;
fabric tape;
wire for the arms - the diameter and quantity depends on the size of your toy. I used approximately 25 cm (10 inches) of copper wire 0.7 mm in diameter (optional);
wire for the head-neck-body frame - the diameter and quantity depends on the size of your toy. I used approximately 14 cm (5.5 inches) of PVC covered wire 3 mm in diameter (optional);
2 small buttons for the overall;
stuffing;
sewing pins;
brown and pink embroidery thread for the eyebrows and mouth;
any material for tinting (optional) to tint the cheeks – I used regular blusher;
brown felt tip pen or brown pencil to draw freckles (optional);
tapestry needle.
Measurements:
I used “Jeans” by YarnArt (55% cotton, 45% acrylic, 50g/160m) and 1.75 mm crochet hook. The boy is 17 cm tall (6.7 inches) and the helicopter is 5x9 cm (1.9x3.5 inches) using the materials mentioned above.
